Aim:
Smart City is a solution to apply ICT to all the aspects of the city such as mobility, electricity, water, energy, economy, environment, governance, health, and education to increase the quality of life and for future sustainability. This special issue in the WSEAS Transactions on Computer Research is aimed at disseminating authentic research pertaining to planning and implementation of smart city initiatives. The issue aims to publish recent research advancements, novel implementations and advanced deployments fostering smart city evolution.

Submission Deadline: December 31, 2016

Submission Rules:
Manuscripts should be prepared according to the formatting instructions. Manuscripts submitted to the Special Issue on Smart Cities – A Hi-Tech Way of Planning and Governance are to be submitted following the standard submission process. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed using the standard procedure that is followed for regular submissions.
