Abstract: The talk describes Nonlinear equations and Their solutions: Exact, Approximate and Numerical? I intend to survey the solutions’ nature of nonlinear equations, in specially, exploring the various types of solutions of celebrity Burger’s equation.

Brief Biography of the Speaker: Turgut Öziş is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics (Ege University, Bornova Izmir, Turkey). He obtained his Ph.D. at Brunel University, London, U.K., under the supervision of John Crank then he moved to Inönü University, Malatya-Turkey as an Ass. Professor and Assoc. Professor and finally to Ege University as a Full Professor where he is active especially in the Program in Applied and Computational Mathematics. His work covers issues that include Numerical methods for partial differential equations (both linear and non-linear), Free and Moving boundary problems, Exact approximate methods for nonlinear systems ((Perturbative and non-perturbative methods). Prof. T. Öziş is a current member of the Editorial Boards of Abstract and Applied Analysis (Hindawi), Journal of Applied Mathematics (Hindawi) and International Journal of Management Science and Engineering Management (Taylor & Francis). He is International Committee Member of The International Conference on Management Science and Engineering Management (ICMSEM), conferences organized annually. He has been invited speaker at 3rd International Interdisciplinary Chaos Symposium on CHAOS and COMPLEX SYSTEMS-CCS2010.
